Dinner with Jen and John: John grilled chicken thighs with peaches and red onions; we brought a loaf of bread and this years apple cake, plus I made a big batch of corn fritters there. Loosely used a Paula Deen recipe, using fresh instead of canned corn and regular cornmeal instead of self rising. Then we all peered at the moon through John's giant new telescope.
