Jason had been wanting french toast, and since we all woke up extra early (thanks, time change), there was time to make a couple of loaves of challah before work. Added some bacon for protein and this very colorful salad (with a lemon-tahini dressing) to round out all the sugar/fat richness:

That purple daikon is SPICY
