Dinner with Jennie and David, plus their friends Guy and Elizabeth. We brought bread (with onions), plus a sweet potato pie (from the Patti Labelle recipe in my recipes) that was fine. Elizabeth made these really tasty little savory meringues with togarashi (spicy!), plus they broughy goat cheese and chive crackers AND manchego and homemade quince paste. I felt very outdone (in a good way, since I got to eat all that tasty stuff).
