Dinner with Jennie and David: cheddar-jalapeno bread (delicious) from Jason; apple crisp from me. We picked the apples from UMass; I used the crisp recipe from the NYT rhubarb crisp recipe and the apple filling from Sally's Baking Addiction. The crisp was perfect, the apples were a tiny bit too sweet and mushy. I 'll make another batch this week and adjust accordingly.
