I made a tomato sauce with sweet and hot Italian sausage in the slow cooker (so retro!) over the weekend, and we had that with spaghetti and a kale salad (meh. despite vigorous kneading the kale was still fairly intractable) . Jason also made some of his garlic flatbreads. We are going to save so much money on meat when Carter moves out....
