Jason made us a loaf of bread, which we ate with various cheeses and condiments, and I made a swiss chard gratin (more or less from a quiche recipe from Smitten Kitchen; omitted the crust). The gratin would have been better had I washed the chard a little more thoroughly---the occasional bit of grit is unpleasant.
