Dinner with Jennie and David----bread, of course, and two kinds of cookies, both from Smitten Kitchen, both repeats. Pretzel Linzers, which I like quite a bit, but they are a lot of work, and super rich. Maybe not worth it. The other one was a brown butter coconut cookie. Nice, but also a bit of a pain what with the browning and chilling of the butter. They are written as a drop cookie, but I did them as a slice and bake. Worked fine.
