A broccoli and tofu fried rice from the NYT that was entirely ho-hum. Partly my fault, as I think I used too much rice. While the technique of sautéing tofu with a little sugar, soy sauce , garlic and ginger and serving it on top was good, the rest of the rice was fairly bland. Needed more soy sauce and hot sauce at the table. Plus poor Carter somehow got a large bite of jalapeno (sorry, kid) and was traumatized. Would not bother with again.
