Dinner with Jen and John. Bread from Jason, iced oatmeal cookies (SK) from me. I feel like my cookie making skills have atrophied: burnt peanut butter last week, and today my oatmeal cookies spread like crazy. At least they were salvageable and tasted fine. I blame not giving the dough time to chill. Anyhow, dinner was two Blue Aprons: a chicken with couscous, carrots and kale in sort of a harissa-apricot sauce and salmon with pinto beans, cabbage slaw and salsa. As usual they both turned out well.
bonus: chilly enough for a fire!
