Biscuits with hamsteaks & red pepper jelly, plus a salad. The biscuit recipe came from here: https://sallysbakingaddiction.com/flaky-buttermilk-biscuits/. They were super successful, and I am not sure if it is the recipe, the fact that I actually had butter milk on hand, baking them in a cast iron skillet, or dumb luck. But they were flaky, rose well, and tasted great. I don't love ham, but with the jelly (and on a biscuit) it was fine. I also made another romaine salad, figuring we would know by know if we had e coli. This time I tried to make it a little more interesting (the last one I made was kind of blah), so I added some dried cranberries, grated pecorino, and chick peas. Much better!
