Jason's parents took us to Bombay Royale for lunch, so we weren't really hungry for dinner. So we just had some tomatoes and corn off-the-cob. The corn was our first of the season and maybe only since it's so pricey this year. Tough summer for farmers.
The corn here in NJ is $.90 an ear… been treating ourselves a few times! Tomatoes, too, have been outrageous, $3.99 lb. But, again nothing like a fresh Jersey tomato, so yesterday bought 8 tomatoes and was $21!
