First night in Portland. I dragged Carter and Jason to a hipster pizza place called Slab, which specialized in giant slices of Sicilian pizza. I think if they had air conditioning we would have had a better time (it was actually hot for the first time on our vacation). The pizza was pretty good (we tried the plain cheese, which was my favorite, a white with mushrooms and red onion, and a spicy meat with peppeoncini), and downtown Portland is cool, but I should have known I was pushing my luck with fancy pizza.
