Dinner with Jennie and David. We brought the Bread of Awesomeness, cornbread madeleines with cane syrup/butter dipping sauce (my attempt, only somewhat successful, to recreate the madeleines at Blue Smoke) and a maple-nutmeg custard pie (obviously right up my alley, although the bottom crust was disappointingly soggy).
