Panini style sandwiches made in the waffle iron. I can't believe I waited this long to use the waffle iron this way! I have had it for probably over 20 years. Anyway, some had ham and swiss, and some had leftover homemade ricotta, kale, and roasted red peppers. They came out with beautiful golden crusts and nice melty cheese. Not surprisingly, there was also a salad.
