Dinner with Jennie and David. Bread, some of the caponata, and a pumpkin pie (from David Liebowitz). The pie crust was great if shrink-y (I used a recipe from Serious Eats and think my ingredients weren't cold enough. The advice to use a glass pie plate was good, though). The pie was devoured so I will take that as a sign of success. I'll try the crust again next weekend.
